This year has been so good and so memorable for me. Many things happened and I am so really overwhelmed and grateful for things that happened good or bad because that always makes me want to strive in what I do and see and understand life in a more vivid and clear way. Especially this month, July so many wonderful things happened to me and I think in one point of my decision of quiting my job, I think I would not regret it and exchange the experience that I have now. So, here we go, join me in a wild ride: Life still goes on!!!

STUX On You...Part II
And as the night progresses and the atmosphere became lighter because of Ms. Nanette Inventor stand-up comedy. The next guest was Asia's Songbird Ms. Regine Velasquez and man, she is really good. I love her song "And I'm telling you I'm not Going" really rock the house down.

The group also did some good renditions of old and not so old songs. I also sang it with them, talking about being an old soul. My companion was really surprise that I know old songs, I told her these are the songs that i really grew up too.

And In one of their songs I was surprised that suddenly Mr. Jon Lesaca entered the stage and I was really applauded so hard. I love him and missed him listening to his violin.

And Lastly, Ms. Khu Ladesma, a very beautiful woman and this is the first time I saw her singing live, unlike when I always see her in front of my TV, really different and frankly when she sang, gave me goosebumps, that's how good she is. A really worthy to be called a Diva.

And for an Encore, they sang with all the members in it even Mr. Carlo Bulahan the beneficiary of the concert. I forgot what they sang because I was really glued on the group themselves, that after all the years that I have not heard songs from them, and here I am enjoying a night with them, talk about star-struck hahahaha!!!

And Mr. Pure Energy, Mr. Gary Valenciano another singer who rock the house down. He did an acapella with The TUX and love the beat box. And also sang his rendition of "Lean on Me"

The TUX, also did rendition of Classical pieces with a modern twist, really funny and hilarious.

The concert ended at around 1:00 am but it was really a very nice and rockin' concert and really memorable for me!!! This is me with the person who invited me to this great event, Clarinda.!!
A real memorable night for me!!!^^
STUX ON YOU...
Saturday, July 18, 8:00 pm at the Music Museum, I attended a concert, to officially kick-off my couch-potato days again hahahaha!!! By the way, really thank you to Clarinda for tagging me along as a date, sorry bakla kasama mo!!! hahahaha!!!
The concert was entitled "STUX On You..." Its a benefit concert for one of the Tux members that was stricken with cancer and It was a really big help organizing this successful event on his behalf. For those of you who don't know THE TUX, they are a great singing group composed of 8 good looking guys in the 80's which are really known for their Acapella renditions. They are way before the Acafellas. I remember listening to them on my dad's cassette and Walkman. My dad has 3 of their albums. I especially like their Christmas album they have many Acapella songs there. Here is a sample maybe you would remember them!!!

Well, I had the privilege to be on that concert and it was really worth it to watch. Where can you watch were the performers an their guest are really A-Lister in the entertainment business to name, Regine Velasquez, Khu Ledesma, Jon Lesaca, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Nanette Inventor and Mr. Pure Energy himself Gary Valenciano. What can you ask for. It was a real worthy concert to be in. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. ^_^
This was when the concert is starting, many family and friends attended the concert. The venue was really packed.
Their first guest was Ms. Zsa Za Padilla, a real remarkable singer. I only got to see her on TV but on the concert really much better listening to her voice.
The next was Ms. Nanette Inventor, I remember her with Ms. Mitch Valdez they use to be partners on stand-up comedies and this part is really my favorite. Let me quote you one of her jokes (this might not be precise but I think you'll get the joke)."Women who are in their 20's, their breasts are Melons really round and perky,
Women who are in their 30's and 40's, their breasts are Pears they are just hanging in there,
And women who are in their 50's and 60's their breasts are onions, they always cry when they see them."
"The milk of women's breasts in their 20's are Fresh Milk,
The milk of the women in their 30's are Evaporated Milk,
The women in their 40's Condense Milk,
In their 50's Yogurt,
And in their 60's Tofu."
She was really funny even laugh so hard in her rap song "I am 64". Yes, Ms. Nanette Inventor rap, and it was really hilarious, really giving the realistic point of view of things around. ^_^
There are still many story to tell, I'll tell you the rest tonight!!! ^^
